This program combines classical and modern fingerstyle techniques. It’s perfect for songwriters and creative people. You’ll learn music theory and harmony directly on the fretboard. The goal is to help you craft your songs and create professional fingerstyle accompaniments. The program starts out gently and gets more advanced as you improve.
Studying classical guitar is key for modern fingerstyle composers and creative guitarists. This program blends classical guitar fundamentals with a thorough knowledge of modern theory and harmony. You’ll improve your left and right hand technique. Plus, you’ll gain a deep knowledge of the fretboard. By the end of the program you’ll be able to express the ideas you hear in your head onto the guitar. Also, you’ll become fluent in reading standard notation and playing famous classical guitar pieces.
Are you looking for guitar lessons for a child? Not all lessons are equal. Teaching children guitar needs special skills and a tailored curriculum. Most kids quit when lessons become too difficult, often due to ineffective teachers. Our program carefully teaches music theory and guitar. It starts with the child and parent working as a team. Initially, the parent and child work together. The goal is to build good playing habits and a positive work ethic. After regular practice, playing becomes both easy and enjoyable.
Courses
Level: 1
We’ll focus on developing good playing technique, rhythm skills, music literacy, music theory, and learn to change basic chords smoothly in time. This course has several layers of assignments. It’s ideal for complete beginners and self-taught beginners with some experience.
Level: 2
Fingerpicking for beginners covers the basics of professional fingerstyle technique. You’ll develop finger independence so that you can play any style of acoustic finger picking. You’ll build a strong technical foundation by learning finger picking exercises and easy fingerstyle guitar songs.
Level: 3
With this guitar music theory course you’ll go through the basics of chord theory, scales theory, and how chords and scales fit together for improvising, soloing and writing and accompanying songs. You’ll learn to read and write music as well as basic ear training.
Level: 4
Playing fingerstyle guitar and singing at the same time takes practice. You’ll get comfortable playing and singing thought a series of guitar and vocal exercises. We’ll go through a selection of easy finger-picked folk songs to practice performing with guitar and voice.
Level: 5 – 6
Our classical guitar online lessons develop your playing through an easy progressive classical repertoire. The instruction is gentle and gradual so that each step feels manageable and natural. Classical guitar will help you feel fluent and confident in any style of fingerstyle music.
Level: 7 – 8
Learn the tools and tricks specific to songwriting and composing on the guitar! This is an essential foundation for guitarists and songwriters who play guitar. You’ll understand the fretboard and discover how melody and harmony work together outside of the common chord shapes.

Learn the tools and tricks specific to composing and arranging on the guitar! This is an essential foundation for guitarists who wish to write and express their ideas on the guitar. You’ll understand the fretboard and discover how melody and harmony work together outside of the common chord shapes.
Level: 9 – 10
Improve your technique and develop speed, accuracy and stamina. This is essential training for serious fingerstyle guitarists. It develops your technical ability in a short amount of time in ways that other guitar styles can’t match. Whether you dream of playing famous classical pieces or create your own fingerstyle pices, this training will help you get there.
Level: 11 – 12
In this course we go deeper into arranging finegrstyle accompaniments for songwriting. You’ll explore advanced and professional techniques. Including voice leading chords and bass. Arranging melodic accompaniments, and creating contrast and continuity between song sections. Take your work to the next level and develop your own style.
Level: 11 – 12
In this course we go deeper into learning and performing the famous classical guitar pieces that everyone wants to play. Pieces such as Lagrima and The Spanish Romance. The goal is to play the pieces professionally, with fluency and ease. By the end you’ll have a portfolio of beautiful pieces you can showcase to friends, family or publicly live or on social media.
Level: 12
These six months are your capstone project. It’s about taking everything you’ve learned and created during your study and putting together a professional demo or EP release of your songs. We’ll go through the pre-production and production process together. The end result is a finished set of songs that you can release and perform publicly.
Level: 12
These six months are devoted to brainstorming and developing your artist brand and digital presence. Once you have your songs produced, you’ll need to present yourself online to your audience. This course teaches you how to look at your own artist as a business and as a brand. After all this hard work you deserve success and a global audience for your songs!
How it works
We are an online pre-conservatory. It’s like a music university for kids and adult beginners. It’s for those who are just starting (or missed out on) formal music training. Our programs are professional but gently paced to suit a busy schedule. Ideal for kids, teens and adults of all ages and levels.
Each program is a study plan that consists of courses. Each course level is six months long (a semester). Each course is taught in weekly online lessons. You can take the lessons in small groups or one-on-one with an instructor.
Program-based tuition ensures that you progress towards your goals. The weekly lessons are structured with excellent learning materials. Each program and course has set milestones, so you’ll know what to expect before you start!
